LESSON 8

The two colleges that I chose to research are Georgia Tech and Florida State. Both of these colleges offer excelent engineering programs. Since Georgia Tech is in Georgia I wouldnt have to pay that high of tuition. Also Georgia Tech is close to home so I mightl not have to pay for boarding.

LESSON 7

The two careers that I explored further during this time were a chemist, and a professional athlete. I have always had a passion for chemistry. Creating and testing new chemicals creates a thrill for me. I also explored professional athlete because I want to become a professional golfer.

LESSON 6 pt 2

I did not particularly find this lesson that helpful because I had already been to this website earlier in these assignments and I basically took in the same information as last time.

LESSON 6 part 1

Both of these article were very interesting. The idea of cars constructed in the form of a lounge and cars that can change looks in an instant is mind blowing. I never thought I would be able to see anything like this in my life time. Finding out that technology found in scientic fiction movies may be available pretty soon is also very scary.

LESSON 5

This lesson was very helpful to me in many ways. It allowed me to find many careers that fitted me, and also many that did not. It mainly helped me to weed out the careers that would provide suffiecient funds for the life style that I want to live. The career that intrest me the most was an Aerospace engineer. I think that it would be fun to work on aircrafts that entered and exited the world that we know. Another video that also intrested me was a video about the LHC. The LHC, which stands for Large Hydrogen Collider, collides nuclei at the speed of light. These collisions rival those of the big bang. With this information they can find out more about how our world was created, that is if you beleive in the big bang theory. Although this lesson was very helpful it was also very time consuming.

LESSON 3

The only job choice that showed on my result was a nuclear engineer. The description tells me that the job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks, being honest and ethical, analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems, and accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations. I beleive that I would fit this job description because I think I have all of these qualities.

LESSON 2

This test told me that I was a persuasive motivator who knows how to get people moving and excited about projects. I was suprised by this mainly because projects usually dont get me excited. I usually just get it done as quickly as possible to get it out of the way.

LESSON 1

From this test I learned that I am a physical, social, and logical learner, because these are the areas that I scored the highest in. This does not suprise me because when working on work I usually try to figure out things by asking others what they think about it, or I try to solve it using logic
